Hey everyone!

I just got back from exploring the beautiful country of Colombia, specifically the Caribbean coastal town of Cartagena and decided it was time to write about it - for the first time ever! From colorful colonial house-lined streets to tranquil beaches found on the Rosario Islands, this South American gem is bursting with culture, history, and adventure. The trip was everything I hoped it would be - full of delicious food, vibrant music, a very grand and memorable Colombian wedding to round out the trip and most importantly, a taste of my near future as my work contract ends - hello unlimited vacation with limited funds!

Although I didn't have a detailed itinerary, I embraced spontaneity, and went with the flow.
